CLOSING EVENT
Please join us for a unique two-hour experience with the artists from the exciting William Buckley:Belonging, exhibition—inspired by none other than William Buckley himself — an escaped convict who made his home with Indigenous communities of the Barwon region during the late 1800s.
You are invited to participate in the discussion as we track down who Buckley was and how we might interpret the situation in which he found himself in light of today's multicultural Australia and the mass movement of displaced peoples around the world.
Themes of loneliness, belonging and identity will be the focus.
